For two years, 'Taking the Next Step': A Two Day Event has been an exceptional opportunity to support our organization.
At our gala event on Sunday evening, centered around the scientific advances in SCI, we have had a number of local five star restaurants prepare delicious courses to be paired with award-winning wine. Our Silent Auction always had a number of wonderful vacation packages, photographs, art pieces, and other wonderful items from local vendors.
On Monday, we have continued to hold the 'Fore Pete's Sake' Golf Tournament, turned over to the QUAD Foundation in 2005 by Pete Flynn. Jack Powell Chrysler of Escondido sponsors the Hole-In-One contest for a Chrysler annually, and we have a wonderful Opportunity Drawing that everyone enjoys.
In 2008, we will be breaking up these two events. We are focusing our efforts on creating a bigger golf tournament for its 7th year, as well as a larger gala event in early 2009.
